Our Adult Seniors stay busy!!

Once a month the group gets together for an activity or a meal, and they usually end up singing some of their favorite hymns.

Some of the activities we have enjoyed are ...

• Bingo
• Annual 60+ Brunch at Christmas
• Trips to the Ragtown Gospel Theater in Post, TX
• The Abilene Police Department gave a fraud prevention seminar
• The Hendrick Hospice gave a class on the best way to visit with hospice patients and their families
• Trips to the Hummingbird Sanctuary in Christoval, TX
• We even have Senior VBS in the summer!

we also reach out to our at home family

Each of our at home church family, whether in a nursing home, assisted-living facility or still in their own home, receives the daily devotional book, ''Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence' by Sarah Young; visits at least twice a month from other church members to deliver bulletins and weekly sermons on CD (plus a CD player if needed to listen to the sermons), and a monthly visit to receive communion from one of our communion hosts .
