Missions

First United Methodist Church financially supports missionaries through our Mission giving. It is exciting to personally experience God's challenge to give extravagantly, and then to witness the radical ways in which He provides us the money to give - all in an effort to impact our local community, and world, for Jesus Christ!

FUMC supports missionaries in India, Spain, Guatemala, Israel, the Philippines and various parts of the world. FUMC members are also encouraged to get involved in local, national, and foreign missions. Members also take part in foreign mission trips every year. In the past, some of these mission trips have included Mexico and Central America, Israel, India, and Thailand.

Our ten core missions for 2016 are:
