Habitat for Humanity helps build houses for families who would not otherwise be able to own their own home. Individuals who become homeowners through Habitat participate in the construction of their own house and undergo several days of training on topics such as finances, family relationships, etc.
Our desire at FUMC is to impact our local community for Jesus Christ through sacrificing time to help others, and helping others construct homes for families in need is one of the most gratifying causes we could take part in.
