Evangelism

Our Evangelism team leads and assists members in extending the love of Jesus to people outside of the church. Our greeters welcome newcomers before each worship service, and our Doorstep ministry delivers a welcome packet and homemade bread to the homes of first-time visitors.

For those who continue to attend our services, the Two-By-Two ministers will request an in-home visit to answer any questions about First United Methodist Church and its ministries. When visitors indicate, a time is then set up for our pastor, David Black, to get to know the visitor(s) and explain church membership to them.
