Ministry Activity Center (2006)

The Ministry Activity Center (MAC) was built in 2005-2006 as a multi-purpose building, officially opening its doors in the summer of 2006. The facility contains a large fellowship hall (doubling as a gymnasium) and commercial kitchen for dinners, programs, receptions, and sporting events. It currently houses our Sunday school classes and Disciples in Growth (DIG) classes on Wednesday nights. Butternut Junction uses the large hall on Wednesday nights for their children's activities.

Other amenities of the FUMC MAC include:

  •   The state-of-the-art sound and video room for showing
       films and power point presentations in the fellowship hall;

  •   A lovely parlor for bridal showers and other parties; and

  •   First United Methodist Church's adult library, found in the New Beginnings classroom (rm. 101).

The MAC connects with our main sanctuary through a beautiful glassed-in atrium.
