Megan Pittman, Contemporary Worship Leader

Megan Pittman began serving as Contemporary Worship Leader at First United Methodist Church in December 2011. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English and Writing from Stephen F. Austin State University and earned a Master's of Divinity degree from Logsdon Seminary at Hardin-Simmons University in 2009. Megan is from Stephenville, and has been involved in music ministry in some capacity since early childhood. She has served the Body of Christ in the Abilene area for the past five years as both a volunteer and an associate pastor.

Megan is passionate about corporate worship and encouraging the Bride of Christ to present Herself as a living sacrifice of worship in the midst of every day life. She loves the reality of God's Presence on earth and lives in pursuit of how to experience more of Jesus and to help others do the same. She is honored to be a part of the wonderful things God is doing in Abilene.

Megan has been married to her wonderful husband Jason since September of 2011, and they have a dog named Charlie. She likes to cook, walk Charlie, make music, decorate her home, and spend quality time with family and friends.
