Guy Irvin joined First United Methodist Church as Children's Pastor/Mother's Day Out Director in January 2008 after having served as a youth/children's volunteer with the church for a number of years. His first volunteer work began at age 13 and continued into adulthood with his work as a volunteer youth pastor.
Guy's goal for the FUMC Children's ministry is to, "prepare each child for his or her next step in life through the teaching of the message of Christ. Doing this will further the Kingdom and build strong Christian leaders for tomorrow."
Guy has been married for 24 years and has three beautiful children, and two beautiful grandchildren, of his own. He enjoys RV camping and fishing with his kids.
