Donajean Caffey has served as Office Administrator for First United Methodist Church since May 2007. She has a Masters in Education and holds certifications in Special Education and Educational Administration. She is also a certified elementary teacher.
Donajean's goal for our church's administrational aspects is to, "prayerfully create and maintain an efficiently organized office hub for the ministry work of FUMC. This includes effective service to pastors, and members, while reaching out to the community as God moves and directs." From 2003-2007, she also held various other positions at FUMC including Children's Minister and Mother's Day Out Director.
Donajean will be celebrating her 45th wedding anniversary with her husband, Stewart, this summer. They have three grown children and their spouses, along with eight grandchildren. Her personal interests include Bible study, teaching, reading, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
